Is this information about the Holiday Annual Art Sale accurate? (Oct. 30 is a Thursday this year.)

  2. Stephanie Elton says:

Good morning, Cindy. These dates are for the Holiday Art Sale that took place in 2009.

Will there be a holiday glass art sale this year? If so what are the dates?

  4. Stephanie Elton says:

    Hello, Ellen.

There will not be a holiday art sale this year but original glass works are available for purchase at The Museum Store (http://tmastore.org/) including limited edition holiday ornaments and goblets for 2014.

So disappointed there was not Holiday art sale this year. It was a great way to get unique gifts for friends and family. And also a great way to promote all the wonderful classes that the Museum has to offer.
Will there be a Holiday Art Sale next year?

  6. Stephanie Elton says:

    Hello, Lorie.

Over the years, the Holiday Sale hosted by TMA’s Education department has evolved from an event that showcases artwork made by students in Museum classes into a sale for some student work, but mostly TMA staff and instructors. The sale is important to many members of our community and it has been important to the Museum as well. We are committed to continuing the sale in a way that is effective for its participants and the Museum alike and are trying to find a way to host the event without giving up large amounts of staff time to do so. We need a bit more time to figure out the best way to achieve this goal.

In the meantime, if you are looking for unique, original gifts for your friends and family, please consider shopping at The Museum Store. It is open during regular Museum hours as well as online (http://tmastore.org/). All proceeds help support the Toledo Museum of Art. Collector’s Corner, located in The Museum Store, has a wide assortment of original artwork by over 250 regional artists.
