Artist Frank Stella
The inaugural event in the Toledo Museum of Arts new Masters Series will be “An Evening with Frank Stella” on Thursday, April 7 at 6 p.m. in the Peristyle Theater. Mr. Stella’s appearance is in conjunction with the opening of the exhibition Frank Stella: Irregular Polygons. He will be joined on the Peristyle stage by TMA director Brian Kennedy, who curated the exhibition and wrote a companion book Frank Stella: Irregular Polygons 1965-66. Journalist and art critic Tyler Green of Modern Art Notes will moderate the discussion. A book signing and exhibition preview will take place after the public program. Admission is FREE; no tickets required. The event is sponsored by the Toledo Museum Ambassadors and the exhibition is sponsored in part by Key Bank.
