Going along with this fall’s Season of Portraiture, TMA invites community members to submit original photographs to the Portraying Life in Toledo photo contest and exhibition. Photos should capture everyday life in Greater Toledo and feature at least one individual. Contestants can enter up to three photographs online. Photos shot for commercial purposes are not eligible for entry. The contest runs now through Sept. 19. The public will vote for their favorites and a panel will select 30 portraits to be included in the show. The exhibition will be on display Nov. 2–Jan. 9.

Where can we submit our pieces for this contest?

  2. michelleharvey says:

Joshua, right from our Facebook page. Click on “Contest.”

  3. Pat Healey says:

The Toledo Blade reported that the deadline for entering pictures in the contest was October 8. Was this in error?
I have some pictures I wanted to enter but according to this page, I’ve passed the deadline.

The deadline for submissions was September 19, and voting runs through October 8. That’s where the Blade got the October “deadline.” We’re sorry you missed the show.
