Women’s History Luncheon Salutes Museum’s Founder

Learn how one early 20th century woman left northwest Ohio a lasting legacy when the Toledo Museum of Art, Historic Woodlawn Cemetery and Historic Perrysburg present The Contributions of Florence Scott Libbey on March 30. The program from noon to 3 p.m. includes lunch at the Glass Pavilion, a presentation and a tour of the Libbey House in the Old West End.  Mrs. Libbey and her husband, Edward Drummond Libbey, established the Toledo Museum of Art in 1901 and donated many objects to its collection. Tickets, which are going fast, are $30 per person. Space is limited to the first 150 registrants.
