TMA and Toledo Zoo Partner on Dual Australia-themed Exhibitions

The Toledo Museum of Art and the Toledo Zoo will partner this summer to offer a combined look at the Indigenous people and diverse wildlife that make up the beautiful and fascinating Australian continent. Crossing Cultures, the TMA’s exhibition of contemporary Aboriginal Australian art, runs April 12 through July 14. The Zoo’s Wild Walkabout: Wonders from Down Under opens on May 24 and runs through September 2.

The Museum will participate in the Zoo’s opening weekend by hosting art-making activities on May 24–26 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Zoo’s children’s area. In return, members of the Zoo’s staff will visit for a number of animal-themed programs. TMA’s annual Family Fun Day scheduled for July 14 will feature live Australian animals from Wild Walkabout.
