The Museum has received questions from the public about its use of lawn sprinklers during the city’s current call for water conservation due to maintenance issues at the Collins Park water treatment facility. The Toledo Museum of Art, as part of its sustainability initiatives, dug a well on its property last year and uses untreated ground water in its irrigation and sprinkling systems. No city-treated water is being used to keep our campus green and lush. For more information on all our energy and resource conservation initiatives, visit our web site at toledomuseum.org/about/green.
