Join us this Saturday, June 13 from 6-10 p.m. for a celebration of the exhibition Play Time featuring spectacle performances by Redmoon Theater, a giant picnic table covering Monroe Street, a member lounge in the GlasSalon and tons of fun and games. Here’s what you need to know: Monroe Street will be closed to through traffic from 3 p.m. until approximately midnight and Bancroft is under construction coming downtown so plan your route accordingly. The party and parking at the Museum on Saturday night are free! There will be food trucks and several cash bars. The party is family-friendly, but parents should use their judgement, as always. Members and employees of our sponsor, ProMedica, can enjoy strawberry shortcake and lemonade in the GlasSalon. Tickets for the most popular work of art in the exhibition, Harmonic Motion, will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. There will not be opportunity for everyone to play on it the night of the party so if you want to play on Harmonic Motion, please arrive early. We hope you join us for the best party of the summer here at the Toledo Museum of Art.
