Docents are well-trained volunteer gallery teachers who use the collection at the Museum to bring the arts to life for people of all ages. New Docents study art history and the Museum’s collection and develop interactive and interdisciplinary skills for working with groups of school children, adults, and families.
Docents must be able to give at least two years of volunteer service after 18 months of training.
