Our collection of more than 10,000 works of art on paper includes prints, photographs, books, watercolors, and pastels. Ranging in date and origin from ancient Egypt to 21st-century America, the collection includes medieval illuminated manuscripts, prints by most of the master printmakers of the past 600 years, and digitally produced books and photographs.

Due to the light sensitivity of paper, these works may only be on view for a few months at a time, so visit often to see refreshed gallery installations and exhibitions.
