Jean Fouquet
French, 1899-1984
Considered one of the most important works of Art Deco jewelry, Jean Fouquet’s large brooch combines precious and semi-precious materials in a geometric design that embodies the Art Deco style. The brooch was acquired in 1999 to help inaugurate the Toledo Museum of Art’s new gallery dedicated to jewelry as an art form.
