Under the guidance of University of Toledo professor Thor Mednick, the students of his art museum practices course and new media design practices course have organized An Inspired Age: Selections of 18th-Century European Art from the Collection, an exhibition featuring objects from the Museum’s European collection that have been previously off view. The students have selected sixteen works of art for the installation, including three examples of sculpture. The class has been working with Lawrence W. Nichols, William Hutton Senior Curator, European and American Painting and Sculpture before 1900, to learn best practices in exhibition development.
