Art Hours are hands-on, hour-long classes that give participants the opportunity to make a variety of glass projects. Enjoy Art Hours with family or friends, or fly solo to get a taste of glassmaking. Sign up for different or multiple Art Hours to make various glass works. No two objects are alike.

Depending on the project, try your hand at hot sculpting (open to members only) and flame working (open to members and nonmembers).

In hot sculpting, a mass of molten glass is gathered from the furnace and then shaped at the end of a rod.

Tickets are $25 for members only (no refunds) and can be purchased in person or by phone during Museum hours starting the Tuesday before each session. Adults and children 14+ accompanied by an adult are welcome. Call (419) 254-5771 ext. 7448.  There is a limit of four tickets per week per member. For groups larger than four, please schedule a private session at least two weeks in advance. Contact the Glass Pavilion at (419) 254-5771, ext. 7334 to arrange your private session.

Art Hours are typically held on Thursdays and Fridays at 6, 7 and 8 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 12, 3 and 4 p.m. in the Glass Pavilion. Some exceptions occur. Check the TMA calendar for upcoming classes.
