
The Resource Center for Educators collection of books, DVDs and discovery boxes have moved to a new location in the TMA Reference Library.
Teachers, home educators, university professors, and students are invited to get a new perspective on lifelong learning at TMA’s Resource Center for Educators (RCE). The RCE provides a variety of educational materials that integrate art into math, social studies, language arts, history, and more. Art Tells a Story
Art Tells a Story provides ways to increase your student’s inquiry skills by examining works of art from the Museum’s collection. The teacher guide addresses literary concepts applicable to grades 2–6, but can be adapted to all grade levels. Contact the RCE for your FREE copy today or download it here.
Discovery Boxes
Get your students excited about learning with our popular Discovery Boxes. Available for a variety of subjects and grade levels, these exciting learning tools include DVDs, CDs, activity sheets, lesson plans, games, posters, handling objects, and more.
To view a list of available Discovery Boxes, search the Library catalog. Click on the Tab, Advanced, then under Collection choose Discovery Boxes, then click OK. This will bring up a list of current discovery boxes.

Teacher Inservices
Offered in half- and full-day sessions, TMA teacher inservices provide gallery activities, lesson plans, curriculum materials aligned with Academic Content Standards, and hands-on studio experiences. For a minimum of 10 teachers, the cost per person is only $15 for a half day or $25 for a full day. Apply online for an inservice. For more information, call (419) 254-5076.
