Art Book Club — Upcoming Selections
Color: A Natural History of the Palette by Victoria Finlay

Book Discussion: Tuesday, July 10 at 5:30 p.m.
*Glass Bead Workshop: Saturday, July 21, 10 am – 12 pm
The exhibition Color Ignited: Glass 1962-2012 highlights the role of color in artistic expression through glass. Join fellow readers for a discussion of author Finlay’s wonderful historical exploration of color through story and travelogue. A hands-on glass workshop at TMA will continue our exploration of color and glass.
*The workshop is $20/person. Those registered for the discussion have priority for spots in the workshop which is limited to 10 participants.
Art Book Club meetings will take place on weekday evenings in the Art Reference Library in the UT Center for the Visual Arts adjacent to the Museum unless otherwise specified. Tours will meet in the museum in Libbey Court.
The Art Book Club is FREE for Museum and Library League members but space is limited and registration is required. You must register individually for each event. Contact the library at 419-254-5770 or library@toledomuseum.org to register.
