Secondary Student Tour Request

Note: This is only a request and does not guarantee a tour at the requested time. You will receive an email confirming your visit. Please read the 2013-2014 Student Tours: Secondary Brochure before filling out this form. We require three weeks’ notice to schedule any tours. There is a $25.00 charge for any tour changes or tour cancellations (this does NOT include weather-related cancellations).

Home Schools

Home School groups wanting Docent-led tours with studio sessions need to schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. Those with children in kindergarten or younger will then be able to go to our Family Center during that time. Classes specifically for Home Schoolers are offered on Fridays; there is a fee for these classes. Please go to our website for further information.

Tour Times School tours are scheduled Tuesdays through Fridays between 10:00 am and 1:30 pm, from October through May. Multiple-visit tours are scheduled Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:00 am to 1:30pm. These hours are subject to change. Please indicate first and second choices for day:

Bus Subsidies Funding to help schools defray transportation costs for docent-led tours is made possible by contributions to our Children's Fund. Schools are responsible for ordering school buses. To submit a request for bus funds, please complete the following section:

Tour Topics Multiple tours are not scheduled on the same date. A separate date will be scheduled for each topic requested. For tours with fees, an invoice will be sent with your tour confirmation.
Special Tour Opportunities

Curriculum Experiences: Secondary

Metalsmithing (Grades 9-12, 90 minutes) Tues.& Thurs. only. Limit 20 combined students and chaperones.

Molten Magic (Grades 9-12, 90 minutes) 45 min. tour + 45 min. glass blowing demo. Limit 50 combined students and chaperones.

Multiple Visit Program

Ekphrastic Writing Contest (Grades 6-12 + adults) Docent-led tour in fall or winter. Contest held in the spring.
