In 2016, the Toledo Museum of Art announced that it had acquired the Museum Place Residences, an almost 3-acre parcel at the intersection of Collingwood and Monroe Streets that is adjacent to the Museum’s campus. The apartment complex consists of five buildings, three of which are on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Museum will host community information meetings to answer questions about the acquisition. Community members and Museum stakeholders are invited to attend and provide feedback on how to best utilize the buildings. The Museum will also involve the public in the future of the properties and keep the community informed when there are updates.
