Color Ignited: Glass 1962–2012

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the American Studio Glass Movement—launched at the Toledo Workshops in 1962—the Toledo Museum of Art presents a variety of activities, including the exhibition Color Ignited: Glass 1962–2012 and the re-creation of the type of furnace used in the seminal workshops.
Additionally, the Glass Art Society (GAS) holds its annual international conference in Toledo in 2012.
