A Day At The Mill

Never a dull moment,

in a day at the mill,

work work work,

for too few dollar bills.

Doing the chores,

yet having some fun,

despite the dark clouds

that are hiding the sun.

Uninvited,

in blows the wind,

but with open arms,

we welcome it in.

Calm is the stream,

and also ’tis chill –

another great day,

here at the mill.
