2021 Great Art Escape

The Toledo Museum of Art comes alive during its annual winter celebration The Great Art Escape. Bring family and friends to celebrate the season with a diverse array of events from December 29 to January 2.
Admission to the Museum during the Great Art Escape is FREE; admission for special exhibitions, programs, and parking apply. The Great Art Escape is sponsored in part by Taylor Cadillac.

Glass Art Workshop: Snowmen: Learn to create a glass object under the guidance of a Toledo Museum of Art instructor during a one-hour workshop at the Glass Pavilion.

Pick Your Own Project: A fun addition to the Glass Art Workshops line-up, the Pick Your Project option lets you decide which glass object you’ll make during this 90-minute session. A variety of options are available.

Explore the new exhibition The Age of Armor with an engaging Flashlight tour led by a TMA Docent. Flashlight tours are an exciting way to have a unique and memorable gallery experience. Registration is required in advance. The cost includes tickets to the exhibition, a complimentary flashlight, and free parking. All ages welcome!

DRAGON SCAVENGER HUNT (SELF-GUIDED) | Herrick Lobby
Explore the Museum Galleries and Glass Pavilion to see how many dragons you can find! If you look closely, you may notice dragons made from bronze, gold, or glass. Draw what you see using a variety of lines, shapes, and textures. Stop by the Information Desk in Herrick Lobby to pick up your copy of the scavenger hunt.
