Did you know that the Museum’s endowments only provide 65 percent of our annual funding?
Each year the remaining 35 percent of our funding must be raised through donations, memberships and earned income from sources like parking fees and retail sales. It is only through the generosity of our donors and members that the Toledo Museum of Art is able to maintain its collection with free admission, mount exciting exhibitions, offer free public programs, enrich the lives of 50,000+ school children and offer free hands-on art activities to disadvantaged children across our region.
The Museum receives no direct taxpayer support and does not charge an admission fee.
Membership donations—which are fully tax deductible—along with other gifts both large and small are vital to the continued success of the Toledo Museum of Art. This city’s crown jewel needs your support to continue bringing art and culture to this region for generations to come.
