Join fellow art and media lovers for a discussion of the documentary, HelveticaHelvetica is an independent film about typography, graphic design and global visual culture. "The film encompasses the worlds of design, advertising, psychology, and communication, and invites us to take a second look at the thousands of words we see every day." (Documentary Area) Joining our discussion is Barry Whittaker, University of Toledo, Associate Professor of Art, New Media Design Practices, and multi-media artist. Registrants will be provided with information on how to view the film prior to the discussion.

The discussion will take place in the Art Reference Library in the UT Center for Visual Arts.
