A birding adventure awaits you at the Toledo Museum of Art in partnership with Metroparks Toledo during peak spring bird migration. Join a Metroparks birding expert as they lead a walk through TMA’s campus in search of migratory and local birds. Metroparks Toledo will provide participants with (sanitized) binoculars to use, or you are welcome to bring your own. Located at the intersection of two major migratory flyways, the Toledo region, including TMA’s campus, provides excellent stopover habitat for songbirds as they travel north. This event is offered in conjunction with the Museum’s exhibition Rare and Wonderous: Birds in Art and Culture, 1620–1820 (April 24–July 25, 2021). The exhibition is sponsored by 2021 Exhibition Program sponsors Taylor Cadillac and ProMedica, with support from the McLoughlin Family Foundation and the Ohio Arts Council.

This event is free, but to keep a safe capacity, advanced registration is required. Two times are offered. Register here.
