The experience of the TMA’s collection is a dynamic one for a vital and thrilling reason – new acquisitions.  Join Lawrence W. Nichols, William Hutton Senior Curator, European and American Painting and Sculpture before 1900 for a twofold presentation about recently acquired paintings and sculpture.  Part I, in the Little Theatre, will provide context about the artists and their work.  Part II, in the galleries, will focus on the resonance a new purchase or gift brings to our understanding of the Museum’s holdings.
