ROVR will play two 45 minute sets, featuring equal parts their recorded works and completely improvised pieces. Come see the prolific duo at the Toledo Museum of Art GlasSalon, Friday November 2nd starting at 6:30pm.

Toledo-cum-Detroit's self-proclaimed "heavy soul" duo ROVR re-imagine what a live band can do. The duo's refreshingly radical approach borrows tasty elements of trip-hop, punk, metal and rap. ROVR's gritty, groove-infused swagger has a raw and primitive spirit, while adding a futuristic urgency and electro-cosmic flair. It’s fun. It’s infectious. It's heavy soul. It's ROVR.

ROVR is fronted by Dean Tartaglia, (also of Secret Space, Equal Vision Records). He made his mark early playing in The Sights as they opened for Tenacious D on their 2012 world tour. ROVR was formerly known as Silent Lions, who DIY toured relentlessly for two years, had their music featured throughout TV and culture (SHOWTIME's "Shameless"/GoPro/Marc Jacobs), and were press darlings (with exclusive features in Popmatters and Paste).

The performance will take place in the GlasSalon. Friday evening hours are made possible by Fifth Third Bank.
