Sunday, Nov. 3: 1 p.m., Meet in Herrick Lobby

One of the Toledo Museum of Art’s best kept secrets, the Works on Paper collection includes nearly 13,000 prints, drawings, watercolors, photographs and illustrated artists’ books. You are invited to our newly renovated Grace J. Hitchcock Works on Paper Visitor Study Center on November 3, 1:00 – 1:45 PM to become acquainted with the museum’s broad and diverse collection that dates from the 13th century to the present. Come discover important works by artists Mary Cassatt, Winslow Homer, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt van Rijn and many others to learn why artists choose making works on paper as their preferred means of expression. Senior Curator Robin Reisenfeld will discuss a selection of highlights from the collection and introduce you to the many delights and challenges works on paper have offered audiences for centuries.

Space is limited and registration is encouraged.
