A lifelong Ohioan, born in Cleveland and raised in Maple Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, Susan Denny moved to Toledo the year she turned 26. It is her home. Here, she and her husband, Greg, raised their family. Her curious mind led her eventually to the ongoing practice of poetry. Susan attended Kent State University as an undergraduate and did graduate studies at The Ohio State University. Susan completed her student teaching in Vienna, Austria, at the American International School. Susan enjoys travelling, reading, walking, playing cello, and has been a cook since she was thirteen. Susan has watched her grandchildren grow with delight. Susan serves TMA as 2024 Ambassador President.
